How to Use Writing Prompts for Your Listing Description
Walk through the guided writing prompts to create a great description.
Writing Prompts: Build a Better Description
Not everyone is a writer, and that's okay. The Writing Prompts feature in the listing editor helps you create a professional, detailed description by answering a few simple questions.
Where to Find It
When creating or editing a listing, look for the "Use Writing Prompts" button in the description section.

The Prompts
The tool walks you through these questions:
- What makes your space special? Think about what sets you apart. Private entrance? Recently renovated? Great natural light? Premium location?
- What equipment and amenities are included? List everything a renter gets with the space: styling chair, sink, storage, WiFi, utilities, parking, etc.
- Tell renters about the location. What's the neighborhood like? Is there good foot traffic? Nearby restaurants or shops? Easy highway access?
- Anything else? This is your chance to mention lease flexibility, move-in specials, ideal renter type, or anything else that might help someone decide.
Why Use It
Your answers get combined into a well-structured description that covers all the key information renters are looking for. You can always edit the final result to add your own personal touch.
Even if you're a confident writer, the prompts are a good checklist to make sure you haven't missed anything important.
