I Was Charged After I Thought I Cancelled

Why this happens and how to get a refund processed quickly.

Charged After Cancelling

This is frustrating, and I get it. Here's what usually happened and how to fix it.

Why This Happens

The most common reason is auto-renewal. Marketing package subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. If you intended to cancel but didn't do so before the renewal date, the system processed the charge.

Another possibility: you may have cancelled your listing (put it on hold or deleted it) but didn't cancel the subscription separately. These are two different actions. Removing a listing doesn't automatically stop the subscription payment.

How to Get a Refund

Email help@salonrenter.com and let me know what happened. Include:

  • The email address on your account
  • The approximate date and amount of the charge

I process these refunds right away. You'll get a confirmation email once it's been issued, and the refund typically appears on your statement within 5-10 business days.

How to Make Sure You're Fully Cancelled

  1. Log in at salonrenter.com
  2. Go to My Billing (or salonrenter.com/invoices/)
  3. Check that your subscription shows as Cancelled or Inactive
  4. If it still shows Active, click Cancel to stop future renewals

If you need help verifying your cancellation status, just reach out.
